Doodlebeast — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24th June 2026
The short version
Doodlebeast does not collect, store, or share any personal information — from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no ads, no third-party trackers, and the app works fully offline. Your child's drawings stay on your device. That's it.
The rest of this page explains the details.
Who we are
Doodlebeast (“Doodlebeast”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a drawing game for kids, published by Biliby Pty Ltd (ABN 86 684 097 078), located in New South Wales, Australia. You can reach us any time at hello@biliby.co.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect, request, or store:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details
- Accounts or logins (there are none)
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA), device identifiers, or any persistent identifier tied to a person
- Photos from your library (unless you deliberately use an in-app feature that requires it — see “Information that stays on your device”)
- Analytics or behavioural data via third-party SDKs (we use none)
We do not use advertising, behavioural profiling, or any third-party analytics, attribution, or tracking software.
Information that stays on your device
Some information is created and stored only on your device, never sent to us:
- Drawings you or your child make, saved to the in-app gallery.
- Settings such as sound preferences, timer settings, and difficulty.
- Avatar and first-name labels you choose for players.
This data lives on your device and is removed if you delete the app. We never receive it.
“Play Together” (local multiplayer)
When you use the local multiplayer feature, devices connect directly to each other over your local Wi-Fi network or a peer-to-peer link. During a game, devices may exchange the current drawing prompt, the finished drawings, and the avatar/first-name labels of the players in the room.
- This information is shared only between the devices playing together in the same place.
- It is not sent to us or to any server, and it does not travel over the internet.
- We recommend using avatars and first names only — please do not enter full names or other personal details.
Purchases and subscriptions
Doodlebeast offers an optional subscription (“Doodlebeast+”). All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy. We receive only aggregate, anonymous sales and subscription statistics from Apple (for example, how many subscriptions were sold) — never anything that identifies you.
App performance statistics
We may view aggregate, anonymous statistics that Apple provides to all developers through App Store Connect (such as total installs, sessions, and crash reports). This information is provided by Apple in summarised form and does not identify you or your child. We do not add any analytics of our own.
Children's privacy
Doodlebeast is designed to be safe for children and families. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant age in your region). The app contains no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no open communication with strangers. Purchases and any links out of the app sit behind a parental gate.
We comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you believe we have somehow received personal information from a child, please contact us at hello@biliby.co and we will address it promptly.
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect it. The only third party involved is Apple, solely to deliver the app and process optional purchases, under Apple's terms.
Data security
Because no personal data leaves your device, there is no personal data for us to secure on a server. Local multiplayer connections between devices are encrypted.
Your choices and rights
- You can delete all in-app data at any time by deleting the app (or using any in-app “reset” option).
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
- As we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side — but you're welcome to contact us with any privacy question.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information (for example, if a future feature collects data), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date, and — where required — seek verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from a child.
